Pink Bunny Crepes with Homemade Whipped Cream

I've got a flip and a flop here today on Worth Pinning.  My friend Megan asked yesterday if I ever make something that just doesn't turn out.  Yes.  It's frustrating wasting time and ingredients. However, these pink bunny crepes turned out perfect are actually inspired by the flop.
Crepes recipe:

2 eggs (one whole egg, one egg yolk)
1 cup milk
1 1/2 t melted butter
pinch of salt
splash of vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
 I colored a little of the batter with bright pink food coloring.
A medicine dropper works great to make the small crepe bunny heads:
 Squirt two ears and a circle for the head & then flip when the edges lift (about 30seconds 1st side and 20seconds 2nd side).
 Spread the plain batter in a circle.
 Place the cooked pink bunny crepe in the center, cook for 1minute and FLIP!
 Cook about 30seconds on the other side.  Move to a cooling rack.
 You can choose your own fillings for the crepes.  We spread Nutella on the backside of the crepe:
 Then added strawberries:
For the whipped cream, take 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 2 T of sugar, splash of vanilla extract and whip on high speed until fluffy (approximately 5 minutes).
Here comes the FLOP.  I saw this beautiful Wilton Inlay cake several days ago.  
I immediately wanted to make a bunny version for Easter.  I watched the Wilton video, wrote down the recipe and drew out my own bunny template (the cake photoed above was a floral template).  Here's what I ended up with:
