Nature Inspired Fall Mantel

There has been a delay this year with the fall colors.  Last month when the scrub oak started to turn red and orange and suddenly dropped its color only days later, we became concerned that Fall wouldn't really POP this year.  The steady rain has kept everything well hydrated and very green.  After temperatures dropped over the weekend, the aspens have finally started to turn.  Just in time for the first snow fall last night...

Now that we've had our first snow over 8500', we can get back to Fall and enjoy my favorite time of the year.  I made the fall sign last weekend and added fall things I already had at home.
The antlers are a local find by my kids.  Antler hunting is like a needle in a haystack.  Every stick starts looking like an antler shed.  It sure is exciting when they find one.
The pumpkins are from Target (last year).  The Autumn sign is from Hobby Lobby (3 years ago).  The fall peacock (clearance from last year) and raccoon (this year) are from PierOne.  The wooden birds are from a local boutique.
Are you decorating for fall?  Moving on to Halloween?  This mantel will be up for about a week and then the real fun begins with Halloween decorating.  Here are a few other seasonal mantels from my home...
