Centsational Girl is hosting a Favorite Kitchen Gadget Party
These are my most used, make my life easier tools...
Cuisinart Pressure Cooker:
What's not to love about steaming artichoke in 8minutes and cooking a tender pot roast start-to-finish in less than an hour? Pressure cooking locks in flavor and nutrients.
Steamed Artichoke in 8 minutes, Tender Pot Roast w/Potatoes & Carrots in 45 minutes, Sushi Rice in 4 minutes
Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer
I consider this my biggest kitchen gadget splurge and debated for too long if I really needed one. I needed one.
Cookie Dough, Biscotti Dough, Brownie Mix, Royal Icing, Gingerbread Dough, Buttercream Frosting, Fondant
Wusthof Classic Knife Set
I don't think you can really appreciate a good knife set until you use a good knife set. I researched a lot of brands and kept coming back to Wusthof. You can buy a set or individual knives on eBay for much less than retail. I added the Wustof Ikon 8" serrated panini knife and it is my most versatile knife. Good start is the 8" panini, 4" paring, and chef's knife.
Cutting Cooked Spinach, Dicing Apples, Chopping Coconut, Slicing Hard Boiled Eggs, Dicing Vegetables
Cuisinart Mini Prep
I sometimes wonder if I'd use a larger food processor if I had one, but I don't think I would use it often enough to store it. I don't like small appliances on my counter tops. The mini prep serves my purposes just fine.
Crumb Crust & Kale Juice
How about you- what are your favorites?
