My winter project was transforming my workout/playroom closet into an office which motivated another project to build a seated storage bench for the relocated closet items such as
medicine balls, weights, bike pump, hats, extra shoes & water bottles.

| After closet was cleared, we built a lower shelf, 18" L-shaped desktop with 3/4" plywood and
and 3 book/photo ledges |
| Primed and painted. |
| I had my mom sew a curtain to conceal the items placed on the lower shelf. |
| Book/Photo Ledges complete. |
| The bench was built with 3/4" plywood 72"L x 31"W x 20" H. The two back compartments measure approximately 34"L x 16"W x 20"H. |
| The lower outer cubbies are 16"L x 12"W x 12"H and the 3 lower middle cubbies are 12"L x 12"W x12"H. The upper cubbies are approx. 34"L x 12"W x 7"H. The top of the storage bench is hinged for hidden storage. |

Love the color scheme, love that you made a desk area out of the closet (I did that once too :) ), love your fabric choice, just everything = love! PS I am now following you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job you did with this! I have a closet office myself and love having that little corner of the world. I know you'll enjoy your corner, too. :-)
