Sugar cookie lollipop

How can something so cute be so easy? You have endless color combination opportunities with these lollipop cookies.
I divided our sugar cookie dough and started kneading food coloring into the dough. Then I made a ball and rolled it into my hands until it started thinning out into a long strand. Once you have three strands of colors, the same length, start twisting the strands and then roll it around into the lollipop shape. Baking time takes longer than a standard sugar cookie (baked about 15min at 350F). As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, insert the stick. When the cookies cool, the stick should support the weight of the cookie.
